The supporters of Bαpes BC booed when Rodhνsta BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikitas Mouzis didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Rodhνsta BC's Christos Paltidis in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vaios Karagiannidis in the 32nd minute of play forced Rodhνsta BC's goalkeeper Kostas Vamvakoulas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Christos Paltidis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Bαpes BC defense, Alkaios Chatzios kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Theocharis Krigos. The Bαpes BC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Theocharis Krigos should have stopped the shot. If Christos Paltidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Christos Paltidis made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Christos Paltidis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The audience was convinced that Vaios Karagiannidis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kostas Vamvakoulas was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. In the 74thth minute of the game Christos Paltidis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bαpes BC's Theocharis Krigos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kostas Vamvakoulas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Rodhνsta BC's goal looked a bit too open when Vaios Karagiannidis came free, but Kostas Vamvakoulas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
