Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Vaios Karagiannidis took the kick off in the first half of the match. Marinos Apostolakos might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Charis Giakoumakis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marinos Apostolakos ran back to his position shaking his head. 4 minutes into the match, Bαpes BC's Marinos Apostolakos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Charis Giakoumakis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 10 played minutes Kerasochori got a freekick which was hit by Themistoklis Kalantzidis. In the 11th minute of the game, Giannis Mountos landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Theocharis Krigos made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Nontas Peropoulos sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Bαpes BC booed when Kerasochori was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vlassis Roussounelos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 19th play minutes Marinos Apostolakos shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Charis Giakoumakis and just under the crossbar into goal. Marinos Apostolakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Kerasochori's goalkeeper Charis Giakoumakis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nontas Peropoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Minas Tsipas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theocharis Krigos having to interfere. Kerasochori's Nikolas Labakis shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 45th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Theocharis Krigos but with some difficulty. 47 minutes into the match, Bαpes BC's Marinos Apostolakos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Charis Giakoumakis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Minas Tsipas made a kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match Kerasochori got a corner. Bαpes BC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Petros Kioubouroglou ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Petros Kioubouroglou got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Theocharis Krigos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Minas Tsipas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 67 minutes into the match, Kerasochori's goalkeeper Charis Giakoumakis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marinos Apostolakos. 71 minutes into the match, Kerasochori's Minas Tsipas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Theocharis Krigos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nikos Charisteas charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nikos Charisteas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nikos Charisteas kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. If Minas Tsipas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Bαpes BC defense, Nontas Peropoulos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Theocharis Krigos. The Bαpes BC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Theocharis Krigos should have stopped the shot. Bαpes BC's Theocharis Krigos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nontas Peropoulos in the 87th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nontas Peropoulos in the 90th minute of play forced Bαpes BC's goalkeeper Theocharis Krigos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Minas Tsipas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kerasochori's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
