In the 15th minute, Kleon Palaskas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dimitris Pissas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Dimitris Pissas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonidas Fragos went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Leonidas Fragos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Dimitris Pissas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Kleon Palaskas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dimitris Pissas was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Dimitris Pissas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kleon Palaskas, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ntinos Megas got free with Anastasios Bouloukos in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 41 minutes into the game, one of Kolkhís FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The supporters of Kolkhís FC booed when Megali Kerasia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adamantios Mitsikostas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The referee showed Michalis Kanonidis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 96th minute, Leonidas Fragos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Megali Kerasia's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
