If Minas Stamatopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Metamσrfosi's zone, Ntinos Steliadis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iordanis Poniridis came out of the goal and Ntinos Steliadis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ntinos Steliadis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Iordanis Poniridis made a huge save. 21 minutes into the game, Minas Stamatopoulos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Pavlos Balatsouras was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pavlos Balatsouras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zisis Kalenteridis, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. A collision led to Agíasma FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Paraskevas Kiassos hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute of the match Manolis Romanopoulos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pavlos Balatsouras showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Manos Stefanakos kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Iraklis Andriolas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pavlos Balatsouras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iraklis Andriolas, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stratos Barberis in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iordanis Poniridis saved Metamσrfosi from getting behind. After the first half Metamσrfosi were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stratos Barberis to make the kick off. Iraklis Andriolas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Pavlos Balatsouras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 53rd minute Minas Stamatopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pavlos Balatsouras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the game, Theodosis Soulakas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Agíasma FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Metamσrfosi the free kick. Pavlos Balatsouras didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Minas Stamatopoulos went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Theodosis Soulakas kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Iordanis Poniridis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stratos Barberis in the 69th minute of the match. Minas Stamatopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavlos Balatsouras having to interfere. Pavlos Balatsouras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iraklis Andriolas in the 74th minute of play. Minas Stamatopoulos struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Pavlos Balatsouras didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Metamσrfosi. Odysseas Ouzounidis kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Manolis Romanopoulos made a precise shot to the right of Pavlos Balatsouras. Agíasma FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Manos Stefanakos hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. A collision led to Agíasma FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Kostas Karagiotakis hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iraklis Andriolas in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pavlos Balatsouras prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Agíasma FC's zone, Minas Stamatopoulos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pavlos Balatsouras came out of the goal and Minas Stamatopoulos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Agíasma FC's Pavlos Balatsouras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iraklis Andriolas in the 98th minute of play.
