In the 27th match minute, West side story was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timos Teliadis to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the game, Sklátaina FC's Anastasios Vdelas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kleanthis Brizolakis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Savas Egomitis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. Kleanthis Brizolakis came out of the goal and Anastasios Vdelas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 38th minute, Iraklis Konstantatos had to leave the field with a concussion. When Timos Teliadis fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored West side story's protests and gave Timos Teliadis a yellow card for diving instead. After 39 played minutes West side story got a freekick which was hit by Timos Teliadis. After 41 minutes of play West side story's Timos Teliadis was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Savas Egomitis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Savas Egomitis took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kleanthis Brizolakis. Kleanthis Brizolakis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Savas Egomitis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kleanthis Brizolakis having to interfere. When Dionysis Pagonakis came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the West side story fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dionysis Pagonakis couldn't finish the play. After 64 minutes of play, West side story's Dionysis Pagonakis made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kostas Orfanidis was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Savas Egomitis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Savas Egomitis struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Kleanthis Brizolakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sklátaina FC. Fotis Tikellis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Kleanthis Brizolakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Savas Egomitis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. West side story's Kleanthis Brizolakis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save West side story from getting a goal against them. Savas Egomitis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Kleanthis Brizolakis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dionysis Pagonakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Savas Egomitis struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Kleanthis Brizolakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sklátaina FC. Savas Egomitis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sklátaina FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
