Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Pyrgi's Alkis Kastanopoulos started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Alkis Kastanopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerasimos Tsilikos in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Evaggelos Routsis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Stratos Labaras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alkis Kastanopoulos in the 9th minute of the match. Pavlos Nikolopoulos hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Stratos Labaras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apostolos Saroglou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Ypsos getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Pavlos Nikolopoulos hit a great ball. A hard shot 18 in the game by Gerasimos Tsilikos from a close distance when the talented Evaggelos Routsis managed to make a qualified save. Pyrgi's players were relieved. Gerasimos Tsilikos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Evaggelos Routsis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Gerasimos Tsilikos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ypsos's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerasimos Tsilikos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evaggelos Routsis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pyrgi's Apostolos Saroglou got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Ypsos defense, Apostolos Saroglou kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stratos Labaras. The Ypsos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stratos Labaras should have stopped the shot. Gerasimos Tsilikos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Evaggelos Routsis came out and tried to block the shot, but Gerasimos Tsilikos slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 31st minute. If Vaggelis Mentis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vaggelis Mentis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Evaggelos Routsis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Aimilios Pantazis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gerasimos Tsilikos to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Gerasimos Tsilikos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Evaggelos Routsis was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Alkis Kastanopoulos might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stratos Labaras. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ypsos's Vaggelis Mentis got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Gerasimos Tsilikos sped through Pyrgi's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Evaggelos Routsis. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerasimos Tsilikos in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Evaggelos Routsis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alkis Kastanopoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 82 played minutes Ypsos got a freekick which was hit by Aimilios Pantazis. In the 87thth minute of the game Gerasimos Tsilikos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pyrgi's Evaggelos Routsis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vaggelis Mentis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Evaggelos Routsis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Ypsos were the better team. Ypsos's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
