Iason Christodoulatos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Konstantinos Botsaris in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iason Christodoulatos saved Limassol F.C. from getting behind. Konstantinos Botsaris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nestoras Adamakis during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14th match minute, Limassol F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestoras Adamakis to maneuver through the defense. Konstantinos Botsaris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Iason Christodoulatos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eleftherios Stathas in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iason Christodoulatos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iason Christodoulatos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Konstantinos Botsaris's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Panagiotis Laliotis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestoras Adamakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Aggelos Borbokis came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Limassol F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aggelos Borbokis couldn't finish the play. Eleftherios Stathas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eleftherios Stathas was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 66th minute. Fitσkon BC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Fitσkon BC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eleftherios Stathas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Limassol F.C.'s goalkeeper Iason Christodoulatos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eleftherios Stathas. In the 92nd minute Konstantinos Botsaris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iason Christodoulatos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fitσkon BC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
