Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Thanasis Akrividis made the kick off which started today's match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anastasios Bachaderoglou got free with Kyriakos Papandreou in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 6th minute, Anastasios Bachaderoglou ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kyriakos Papandreou was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Anastasios Bachaderoglou succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 9th playminute. Giannis Zacharakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loukas Kapogiannopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manos Logarakis might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Giannis Zacharakis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manos Logarakis ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Nektarios Megalios's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Giannis Zacharakis was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Kyriakos Papandreou made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Anastasios Bachaderoglou sent off a good shot on target. In the 19th match minute, Yiourgánista BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stamatis Moraitelis to maneuver through the defense. When Manos Logarakis came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the The Dogs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manos Logarakis couldn't finish the play. 21 minutes into the match, Yiourgánista BC's goal looked a bit too open when Manos Logarakis came free, but Giannis Zacharakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 24 played minutes The Dogs got a freekick which was hit by Giannis Koufakis. Thanasis Akrividis struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Kyriakos Papandreou didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yiourgánista BC. Anastasios Bachaderoglou could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Kyriakos Papandreou made a huge save. In the 28thth minute of the game Thanasis Akrividis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Dogs's Kyriakos Papandreou was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Yiourgánista BC's zone, Loukas Kapogiannopoulos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giannis Zacharakis came out of the goal and Loukas Kapogiannopoulos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When The Dogs's Nektarios Megalios in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Yiourgánista BC's goalie prevented a goal. Lefteris Mousouris charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lefteris Mousouris the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lefteris Mousouris hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. If Manos Logarakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 37th minute, Anastasios Bachaderoglou made a precise shot to the right of Kyriakos Papandreou. The Dogs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Lefteris Mousouris kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After 42 minutes, Minas Karterouliotis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yiourgánista BC and the The Dogs players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of The Dogs booed when Yiourgánista BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Minas Karterouliotis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Lefteris Mousouris recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kyriakos Papandreou. Lefteris Mousouris showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manos Logarakis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Manos Logarakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Giannis Zacharakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anastasios Bachaderoglou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Dogs's Kyriakos Papandreou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lefteris Mousouris in the 56th minute of play. The Dogs's Manos Logarakis got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kyriakos Papandreou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anastasios Bachaderoglou in the 59th minute of the match. Kyriakos Papandreou came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Yiourgánista BC's Lefteris Mousouris. But to his dismay, Lefteris Mousouris quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. If Manos Logarakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nektarios Megalios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Manos Logarakis had several of the Yiourgánista BC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 71 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 5-1 score and a disappointed Giannis Zacharakis as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 74th minute of the match Fondas Tiropoulos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kyriakos Papandreou showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Kyriakos Papandreou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Minas Karterouliotis, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 77 minutes into the match, The Dogs's Nektarios Megalios sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Giannis Zacharakis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Minas Karterouliotis hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Kyriakos Papandreou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lefteris Mousouris, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After some careless play in the The Dogs defense, Minas Karterouliotis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kyriakos Papandreou. The The Dogs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kyriakos Papandreou should have stopped the shot. Kyriakos Papandreou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thanasis Akrividis, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Nektarios Megalios might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Giannis Zacharakis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nektarios Megalios ran back to his position shaking his head. Manos Logarakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Yiourgánista BC's Giannis Zacharakis got control of the ball when Nektarios Megalios tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yiourgánista BC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of The Dogs for a fine match.
