Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thanasis Akrividis in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giorgos Kechagias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Yiourgánista BC booed when Mιtsovo BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sotiris Gletsos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giorgos Kechagias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anastasios Bachaderoglou went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Anastasios Bachaderoglou was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 17th minute. Yiourgánista BC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 21stth minute of the game Thanasis Akrividis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mιtsovo BC's Giorgos Kechagias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Mιtsovo BC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Babbis Kountouriotis hit a great ball. Thanasis Akrividis had several of the Mιtsovo BC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 34 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Giorgos Kechagias as he didn't even see the shot coming. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Thanasis Akrividis took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Giorgos Kechagias to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When Charis Remos fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mιtsovo BC's protests and gave Charis Remos a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Mιtsovo BC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Charis Remos hit a great ball. Anastasios Bachaderoglou struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Giorgos Kechagias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yiourgánista BC. After having played for 73 minutes, Charis Remos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mιtsovo BC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charis Remos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anastasios Bachaderoglou blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Giorgos Kechagias having to make a save. In the 77thth minute of the game Thanasis Akrividis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mιtsovo BC's Giorgos Kechagias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mιtsovo BC's zone, Anastasios Bachaderoglou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giorgos Kechagias came out of the goal and Anastasios Bachaderoglou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82nd minute Anastasios Bachaderoglou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giorgos Kechagias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
