Spectators: 7214 (Terracing: 5664, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 50) Manos Logarakis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Dimitris Trakas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Spyros Sabatakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Kyriakos Papandreou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 6 minutes into the game, one of Thasas BC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manos Logarakis in the 13th minute of play forced Thasas BC's goalkeeper Vassilis Tsantirakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Thasas BC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Nikos Panagidis hit a great ball. The Dogs's Kyriakos Papandreou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Labakis in the 19th minute of play. Kyriakos Papandreou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Labakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vassilis Tsantirakis made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Nektarios Megalios sent off a good shot on target. 26 minutes into the match, The Dogs's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Labakis came free, but Kyriakos Papandreou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute, Loukas Kapogiannopoulos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Dimitris Trakas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 30 minutes, Nikos Panagidis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Thasas BC and the The Dogs players grew even worse after the yellow card. With his leg Vassilis Tsantirakis managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when The Dogs's Nektarios Megalios fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dimitris Trakas in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vassilis Tsantirakis saved Thasas BC from getting behind. In the 44th minute, Dimitris Trakas fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 45th match minute, Thasas BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikos Panagidis to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andreas Labakis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Manos Logarakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vassilis Tsantirakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nektarios Megalios, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Kyriakos Papandreou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andreas Labakis in the 55th minute of the match. If Dimitris Trakas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute Manos Logarakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vassilis Tsantirakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Dimitris Trakas notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Thasas BC's Vassilis Tsantirakis. Vassilis Tsantirakis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vassilis Tsantirakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nektarios Megalios in the 67th minute of the match. Dimitris Trakas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manos Logarakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Vassilis Tsantirakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manos Logarakis might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vassilis Tsantirakis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manos Logarakis ran back to his position shaking his head. Vassilis Tsantirakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stamatis Malezas in the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd minute Loukas Kapogiannopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vassilis Tsantirakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Stamatis Malezas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Manos Logarakis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vassilis Tsantirakis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Panagiotis Pantelakis managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Dogs's supporters rose to their feet, but Panagiotis Pantelakis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vassilis Tsantirakis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Dogs walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
