The supporters of Bóstiani booed when OLYMPIAKOS F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konstantinos Mitrou didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Bóstiani's Koulis Telonis got control of the ball when Nikiforos Anthimidis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Stathis Chatzios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikos Ivanidis having to interfere. Christodoulos Korasidis kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Bóstiani's Koulis Telonis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Markos Prodromou in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Markos Prodromou in the 25th minute of play forced Bóstiani's goalkeeper Koulis Telonis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Koulis Telonis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Menios Kosmakis in the 28th minute of play. 32 minutes in the game, Nikiforos Anthimidis fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Koulis Telonis having to interfere. Koulis Telonis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nikiforos Anthimidis in the 34th minute. After 34 minutes, Paris Tsaligopoulos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bóstiani and the OLYMPIAKOS F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Bóstiani getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stathis Chatzios stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Markos Prodromou in the 51st minute of play forced Bóstiani's goalkeeper Koulis Telonis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Sofoklis Kretinos came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Bóstiani fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sofoklis Kretinos couldn't finish the play. Sofoklis Kretinos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikos Ivanidis having to interfere.
