Miltiadis Vardakas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 5 minutes, Konstantinos Grigoriou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ierisσs BC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Konstantinos Grigoriou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Apostolikas Meraklis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Notis Arnidis made a huge save. Notis Arnidis came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Ierisσs BC's Renos Kalabokis. But to his dismay, Renos Kalabokis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 14th minute Konstantinos Grigoriou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Notis Arnidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kostas Spyropoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diogenis Koublis, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After a rather tough play, Ierisσs BC's Paraskevas Grigoroulis got a free kick in the 17th minute. Diogenis Koublis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kostas Spyropoulos having to interfere. Kostas Spyropoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alekos Kontogiannopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Apostolikas Meraklis scored 2-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Notis Arnidis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zisis Bistis took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kostas Spyropoulos. Kostas Spyropoulos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. An unexpected shot in the 33rd minute by Konstantinos Grigoriou got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 35 played minutes Α.Ο. ΣΥΡΟΥ got a freekick which was hit by Spyros Chloros. Ierisσs BC's Kostas Spyropoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alekos Kontogiannopoulos in the 41st minute of play. Diogenis Koublis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

55 minutes into the match, Ierisσs BC's goalkeeper Kostas Spyropoulos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diogenis Koublis. Notis Arnidis came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Ierisσs BC's Renos Kalabokis. But to his dismay, Renos Kalabokis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alekos Kontogiannopoulos in the 68th minute of play forced Ierisσs BC's goalkeeper Kostas Spyropoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Α.Ο. ΣΥΡΟΥ's goal looked a bit too open when Renos Kalabokis came free, but Notis Arnidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Diogenis Koublis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Apostolikas Meraklis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Notis Arnidis was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Alekos Kontogiannopoulos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kostas Spyropoulos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Alekos Kontogiannopoulos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kostas Spyropoulos. The goal made the score 3-3. The audience was convinced that Apostolikas Meraklis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Notis Arnidis was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. In the 91st minute of the match, Apostolikas Meraklis sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Notis Arnidis showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. Diogenis Koublis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Kostas Spyropoulos made a huge save. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
