Kostas Spyropoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marinos Kopanidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 9th minute Marinos Kopanidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kostas Spyropoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Telis Gogolos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Nαsia BC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Apostolis Michalolias hit a great ball. Nαsia BC's Stavros Tassioglou proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Nαsia BC from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Nαsia BC's zone, Konstantinos Grigoriou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stavros Tassioglou came out of the goal and Konstantinos Grigoriou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 22nd minute, Alkaios Kapsalakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ierisσs BC's Miltiadis Vardakas got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Apostolikas Merakliss short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Stavros Tassioglou to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Stavros Tassioglou was a little too slow when Apostolikas Meraklis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 1-0. Ierisσs BC's Konstantinos Grigoriou got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Telis Gogolos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Kostas Spyropoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Apostolikas Meraklis in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stavros Tassioglou prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Nαsia BC's zone, Konstantinos Grigoriou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stavros Tassioglou came out of the goal and Konstantinos Grigoriou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paraskevas Grigoroulis in the 48th minute of play forced Nαsia BC's goalkeeper Stavros Tassioglou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Apostolikas Meraklis made a kick off. Dimitris Kouvaris took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Stavros Tassioglou. Nαsia BC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miltiadis Vardakas in the 56th minute of play forced Nαsia BC's goalkeeper Stavros Tassioglou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ierisσs BC's Kostas Spyropoulos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Ierisσs BC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Konstantinos Grigoriou in the 64th minute of play forced Nαsia BC's goalkeeper Stavros Tassioglou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Konstantinos Grigoriou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ierisσs BC:s Kostas Spyropoulos showed great skill when he stopped Iakovos Tsartas:s penalty. After 74 played minutes Ierisσs BC got a freekick which was hit by Giannis Samaratos. When Ierisσs BC's Apostolikas Meraklis in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nαsia BC's goalie prevented a goal. When Konstantinos Grigoriou came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Ierisσs BC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Konstantinos Grigoriou couldn't finish the play. In the 81st minute, Miltiadis Vardakas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stavros Tassioglou was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 86 minutes into the game, Telis Gogolos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Kostas Spyropoulos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Renos Kalabokis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Stavros Tassioglou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 97th minute of the match Antonis Fytilis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stavros Tassioglou showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nαsia BC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
