The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Manolis Mamakos hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. If Paraskevas Kalamaridis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Lιka's zone, Paraskevas Kalamaridis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simos Moulopoulos came out of the goal and Paraskevas Kalamaridis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th minute of the match, Vaggelis Skiriotis tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Simos Moulopoulos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 28thth minute of the game Alexandros Kalogerakis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palaiá Kariótissa BC's Fanis Zisimopoulos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lιka's Simos Moulopoulos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Lιka from getting a goal against them. Manolis Mamakos's late challenge caught a Palaiá Kariótissa BC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manolis Mamakos helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Palaiá Kariótissa BC booed when Lιka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manolis Mamakos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eleftherios Mourikis hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Manolis Mamakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Alexandros Kalogerakis put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Fanis Zisimopoulos. After 42 minutes of play, Lιka's Alexandros Kalogerakis made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fanis Zisimopoulos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

63 minutes into the match, Vaggelis Skiriotis notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Lιka's Simos Moulopoulos. Simos Moulopoulos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Paraskevas Kalamaridis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Manolis Mamakos was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 71 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Lιka's Manolis Mamakos got a free kick in the 71st minute. 72 minutes into the match, Lιka's goal looked a bit too open when Vaggelis Skiriotis came free, but Simos Moulopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Vaggelis Skiriotis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lιka's Alexandros Kalogerakis managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Miltiadis Skebis in the 82 minute of the game. Manos Passalis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Vaggelis Skiriotis came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Palaiá Kariótissa BC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vaggelis Skiriotis couldn't finish the play. 91 minutes into the match, Lιka's goal looked a bit too open when Vaggelis Skiriotis came free, but Simos Moulopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Palaiá Kariótissa BC's Paraskevas Kalamaridis in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Simos Moulopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lιka had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
