Akis Partaolas came out of the goal and Aris Kapagiannidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute, Panagiotis Kantilas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Belokomitis's Akis Partaolas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aris Kapagiannidis in the 66th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Belokomitis's goal looked a bit too open when Aris Kapagiannidis came free, but Akis Partaolas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Belokomitis's goalkeeper Akis Partaolas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Panagiotis Kantilas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd match minute, Belokomitis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Panagiotis Kantilas to maneuver through the defense. If Aris Kapagiannidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
