Levνdhi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Panos Matsikidis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Kavásilla BC's goal looked a bit too open when Sokratis Poniros came free, but Christos Laggizos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Panos Matsikidis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christos Laggizos was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Kavásilla BC's Christos Laggizos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sokratis Poniros in the 18th minute of play. Anthimos Filippas hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Christos Laggizos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sokratis Poniros in the 23rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Levνdhi FC's Panos Matsikidis got a free kick in the 26th minute. If Michalis Karypidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Panos Matsikidis to make the kick off. Panos Matsikidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sokratis Poniros got free with Christos Laggizos in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Levνdhi FC's Dimitris Tziolis got a free kick in the 69th minute. If Marinos Tobras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, Kavásilla BC's goalkeeper Christos Laggizos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sokratis Poniros. If Sokratis Poniros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute Michalis Karypidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giannis Tsakas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christos Laggizos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Panos Matsikidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Giotis Pantelakis fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Panos Matsikidis couldn't finish the play. Giannis Tsakas came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Kavásilla BC's Marinos Tobras. But to his dismay, Marinos Tobras quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Sokratis Poniros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Christos Laggizos made a huge save. If Sokratis Poniros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
