He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in INTERplanetary Revolution reached it. 30 minutes into the match, Fondas Gaitatzis notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of INTERplanetary Revolution's Giannis Rapanos. Giannis Rapanos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of INTERplanetary Revolution booed when Mega Kazavition was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chatziantoniou Theodoratos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute Fondas Gaitatzis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giannis Rapanos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Dimos Megalios made the kick off in the second half. When Babbis Georgakis came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Mega Kazavition fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Babbis Georgakis couldn't finish the play. Sakis Pantelidis's late challenge caught a INTERplanetary Revolution's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sakis Pantelidis helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of INTERplanetary Revolution booed when Mega Kazavition was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sakis Pantelidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Nikos Potamias managed to get in a good position for a shot. INTERplanetary Revolution's supporters rose to their feet, but Nikos Potamias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alekos Chatzipanagis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dimos Megalios recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christos Tsabikos might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alekos Chatzipanagis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christos Tsabikos ran back to his position shaking his head. Giannis Rapanos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimos Megalios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Fondas Gaitatzis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 90th minute Babbis Papageorgiou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alekos Chatzipanagis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Babbis Papageorgiou got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Babbis Papageorgiou's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alekos Chatzipanagis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play.
