In the 15th minute Petros Telakos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tasos Barberis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Vladimiros Pechlifanis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tasos Barberis. OLYMPIAKOS AEGINA FCC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vladimiros Pechlifanis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The supporters of OLYMPIAKOS AEGINA FCC booed when Skripoú was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giotis Bounias didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee ignored OLYMPIAKOS AEGINA FCC's protests and gave Renos Kakaris a yellow card for diving instead. Renos Kakaris kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Notis Lazarou stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd of the match, Vladimiros Pechlifanis tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Tasos Barberis got in the way and made a wonderful save. A collision led to OLYMPIAKOS AEGINA FCC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Renos Kakaris hit a great ball. Skripoú's Petros Telakos got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Petros Telakos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Tasos Barberis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Vladimiros Pechlifanis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 68 minutes into the match, OLYMPIAKOS AEGINA FCC's goalkeeper Tasos Barberis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Petros Telakos. Thanks to some nice moves Petros Telakos could shoot a difficult shot in the 70th minute, which Tasos Barberis however easily saved by the left post. 71 minutes into the match, OLYMPIAKOS AEGINA FCC's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimiros Pechlifanis came free, but Tasos Barberis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. OLYMPIAKOS AEGINA FCC's Notis Lazarou got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dimosthenis Fetfatzidis's late challenge caught a OLYMPIAKOS AEGINA FCC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Petros Telakos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Tasos Barberis made a huge save. If Kyriakos Michelakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The OLYMPIAKOS AEGINA FCC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Skripoú were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
