Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Grigoris Zigouropoulos kicked off to start the match. 6 minutes into the game, Pirgoϊsi's Stamatis Baxevanis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stamatis Ntaralas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 9 played minutes Pirgoϊsi got a freekick which was hit by Markos Giannakoglou. In the 14th minute Grigoris Zigouropoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stamatis Ntaralas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Pirgoϊsi booed when ilioupoli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charalambos Kitsios didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonidas Chalkias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vlassis Kapsis in the 28th minute of play. Stamatis Baxevanis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stamatis Ntaralas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grigoris Zigouropoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Grigoris Zigouropoulos in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stamatis Ntaralas saved ilioupoli from getting behind. Pirgoϊsi's Grigoris Zigouropoulos got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thomas Giannakakis to strike the kick off in the second half. Stamatis Baxevanis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stamatis Ntaralas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Fivos Skentzos hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute, Stamatis Baxevanis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stamatis Baxevanis in the 60th minute of play forced ilioupoli's goalkeeper Stamatis Ntaralas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonidas Chalkias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vlassis Kapsis in the 63rd minute. Stamatis Baxevanis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 81stth minute of the game Stamatis Baxevanis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ilioupoli's Stamatis Ntaralas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Stamatis Baxevanis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stamatis Ntaralas was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Vlassis Kapsis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonidas Chalkias having to interfere. Pirgoϊsi's Grigoris Zigouropoulos got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Pirgoϊsi players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
