With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alkaios Tatsis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Téo Vieira put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Alkaios Tatsis. Alkaios Tatsis came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by ΝΥΧΤΕΡΙΔΕΣ F.C.'s Kyriakos Meimaroglou. But to his dismay, Kyriakos Meimaroglou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonardo Fraco got free with Ilias Kastanis in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorel Arieșan in the 28th minute of play forced Váltoi's goalkeeper Alkaios Tatsis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alkaios Tatsis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Téo Vieira's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. After having played for 32 minutes, Argyris Patrinos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Váltoi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Argyris Patrinos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th match minute, Váltoi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonis Matsoukis to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of ΝΥΧΤΕΡΙΔΕΣ F.C. booed when Váltoi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Fraco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antonis Matsoukis charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 89thth minute of the game Téo Vieira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Váltoi's Alkaios Tatsis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Giorgos Papakosmas fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Váltoi's protests and gave Giorgos Papakosmas a yellow card for diving instead.
