Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Leonardo Fraco made the kick off which started today's match. If Leonardo Fraco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Argyris Patrinos came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Váltoi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Argyris Patrinos couldn't finish the play. 9 minutes into the match, Váltoi's goal looked a bit too open when Giorgos Vardis came free, but Alkaios Tatsis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alkaios Tatsis made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Telis Macheridis sent off a good shot on target. Alkaios Tatsis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniil Lagos in the 12th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Panetolikos's Giorgos Vardis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alkaios Tatsis. That made the score 1-0 after 20 minutes of play. Panetolikos's Prokopis Maggioros managed to work through Váltoi's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Prokopis Maggioros dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After a defensive mix-up in Panetolikos's zone, Argyris Patrinos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kyriakos Skoulikas came out of the goal and Argyris Patrinos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 30th minute of the match Sotiris Gougoulakis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kyriakos Skoulikas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Váltoi's goalkeeper Alkaios Tatsis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Prokopis Maggioros. Eustratios Poursanidis might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kyriakos Skoulikas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eustratios Poursanidis ran back to his position shaking his head. 39 minutes into the match, Panetolikos's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Fraco came free, but Kyriakos Skoulikas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41stth minute of the game Leonardo Fraco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Panetolikos's Kyriakos Skoulikas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alkaios Tatsis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giorgos Vardis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Váltoi's Alkaios Tatsis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giorgos Vardis in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Giorgos Vardis to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Váltoi's zone, Giorgos Vardis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alkaios Tatsis came out of the goal and Giorgos Vardis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Váltoi getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Giorgos Papakosmas hit a great ball. In the 55th minute, Giorgos Vardis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panetolikos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniil Lagos in the 58th minute of play forced Váltoi's goalkeeper Alkaios Tatsis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Váltoi's Alkaios Tatsis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vassilis Partaolas in the 66th minute of play. Prokopis Maggioros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Alkaios Tatsis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Eustratios Poursanidis came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Váltoi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eustratios Poursanidis couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniil Lagos in the 81st minute of play forced Váltoi's goalkeeper Alkaios Tatsis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute, Giorgos Vardis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Panetolikos's Prokopis Maggioros in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Váltoi's goalie prevented a goal. Alkaios Tatsis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prokopis Maggioros, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Alkaios Tatsis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniil Lagos in the 89th minute of play. Leonardo Fraco struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Kyriakos Skoulikas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Váltoi. Panetolikos's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
