The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Argyris Patrinos fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Leonardo Fraco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Alexis Kododimos made a huge save. Argyris Patrinos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 15 minutes into the match, ofi iliokastrou's goalkeeper Alexis Kododimos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonardo Fraco. Argyris Patrinos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexis Kododimos having to interfere. After having played for 20 minutes, Eustratios Poursanidis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Váltoi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eustratios Poursanidis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot 24 in the game by Leonardo Fraco from a close distance when the talented Alexis Kododimos managed to make a qualified save. ofi iliokastrou's players were relieved. Eustratios Poursanidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexis Kododimos having to interfere. Stamatis Papadopoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Argyris Patrinos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonardo Fraco didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 36th minute. Váltoi's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Alexis Kododimos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonardo Fraco in the 43rd minute. In the 50th minute of the match Nikolas Kamateros sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alkaios Tatsis skillfully saved the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kostas Taganikas to make the kick off. If Argyris Patrinos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonardo Fraco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Alexis Kododimos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 59 minutes of play, ofi iliokastrou's Stamatis Papadopoulos made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alkaios Tatsis was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 68th minute, Stamatis Papadopoulos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alkaios Tatsis. The goal made the score 1-2. A collision led to Váltoi getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Kyriakos Kontodimos hit a great ball. ofi iliokastrou's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 78th minute of the game, when Alkaios Kladas after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Váltoi's goal. Alkaios Kladas was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. 80 minutes into the match, ofi iliokastrou's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Fraco came free, but Alexis Kododimos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Váltoi's goalkeeper Alkaios Tatsis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stamatis Papadopoulos. 91 minutes into the game, Váltoi's Leonardo Fraco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alexis Kododimos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. There was no doubt that Váltoi were the better team. Váltoi's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
