The audience thought a goal was coming when Marinos Loumidis got free with Errikos Liakopoulos in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michalis Voulgaridis in the 31st minute of play forced Nea Moudania's goalkeeper Errikos Liakopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Errikos Liakopoulos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fivos Triantafyllidis in the 32nd minute. Simos Tsobanis kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. When Fivos Triantafyllidis fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The penalty shot was made by Marinos Loumidis, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Nea Moudania's Errikos Liakopoulos. 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Kréntis's Stavros Tzougarakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giannis Ikonomou in the 53rd minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Giannis Ikonomou ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stavros Tzougarakis was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Giannis Ikonomou has a good long shot, which he once again showed in the 61st minute of the match. Unfortunately the ball hit the outside of the left post. Nea Moudania's Eleftherios Bouzios managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Iakovos Stathakos in the 63 minute of the game. Nea Moudania's Errikos Liakopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fivos Triantafyllidis in the 67th minute of play. If Giannis Ikonomou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 71 minutes, Kosmas Mantzios mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kréntis and the Nea Moudania players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Nea Moudania booed when Kréntis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kosmas Mantzios didn't get a good kick on the ball. Errikos Liakopoulos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Michalis Voulgaridis went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Vaggelis Sfiggas hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thrasivoulos Tsouloufidis during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 83rd match minute, Kréntis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thrasivoulos Tsouloufidis to maneuver through the defense. Eleftherios Bouzios struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Stavros Tzougarakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nea Moudania. Nea Moudania's Giannis Ikonomou got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Kréntis had won after a very even match.
