Spectators: 6526 (Terracing: 4700, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Markos Evaggelliadis kicked off to start the match. 6 minutes into the match, Nea Moudania's goal looked a bit too open when Theocharis Polichronidis came free, but Errikos Liakopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giannis Ikonomou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Eutichios Kominidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giannis Ikonomou in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eutichios Kominidis saved foinikas syrou f.c from getting behind. 15 minutes into the match, foinikas syrou f.c's goal looked a bit too open when Giannis Ikonomou came free, but Eutichios Kominidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Errikos Liakopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aggelos Tositsas, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 20 minutes into the match, foinikas syrou f.c's goal looked a bit too open when Giannis Ikonomou came free, but Eutichios Kominidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eleftherios Bouzios might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eutichios Kominidis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eleftherios Bouzios ran back to his position shaking his head. Giannis Ikonomou blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eutichios Kominidis having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giannis Ikonomou in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eutichios Kominidis saved foinikas syrou f.c from getting behind. Nea Moudania's Eleftherios Bouzios got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eutichios Kominidis came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Nea Moudania's Eleftherios Bouzios. But to his dismay, Eleftherios Bouzios quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Markos Evaggelliadis took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Errikos Liakopoulos. Errikos Liakopoulos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 47th minute Giannis Ikonomou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eutichios Kominidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Giannis Ikonomou made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Giannis Ikonomou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nea Moudania's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giannis Ikonomou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eutichios Kominidis came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Nea Moudania's Giannis Ikonomou. But to his dismay, Giannis Ikonomou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Nea Moudania's Errikos Liakopoulos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Nea Moudania from getting a goal against them. In the 61st minute, Theocharis Polichronidis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Errikos Liakopoulos. The goal made the score 2-2. Errikos Liakopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikiforos Chronas in the 68th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in foinikas syrou f.c's zone, Giannis Ikonomou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eutichios Kominidis came out of the goal and Giannis Ikonomou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eutichios Kominidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eleftherios Bouzios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eutichios Kominidis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eleftherios Bouzios went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Theocharis Polichronidis got free with Errikos Liakopoulos in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The attack was good, but when Giannis Ikonomou in the 85th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 4-2 became the score in the 87th minute when Giannis Ikonomou elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 91 minutes of play, Nea Moudania's Giannis Ikonomou made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eutichios Kominidis was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 96th minute Giannis Ikonomou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eutichios Kominidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Nea Moudania fully deserved thier win.
