Spectators: 6862 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alkis Komaitis kicked off to start the match. Valentinos Psychountakis came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Vamvakαdhes's Lambros Megas. But to his dismay, Lambros Megas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, FC STIINTA's goal looked a bit too open when Lambros Megas came free, but Valentinos Psychountakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valentinos Psychountakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timos Sakalis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to FC STIINTA getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Kosmas Andriolas hit a great ball. Valentinos Psychountakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikolas Agathakos, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. If Alkis Komaitis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kosmas Andriolas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute Lambros Megas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentinos Psychountakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Argyris Louboutis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alekos Zachalios in the 30th minute. Argyris Louboutis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akis Papadopetrakis in the 33rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Alkis Komaitis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Argyris Louboutis was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. If Kosmas Andriolas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Themistoklis Stergiotis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, FC STIINTA's Loukas Trapezanidis got a free kick in the 38th minute. Demis Kousas hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Kimon Sfakianos managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC STIINTA's supporters rose to their feet, but Kimon Sfakianos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Argyris Louboutis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Themistoklis Stergiotis made the kick off in the second half. Alkis Komaitis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 55th match minute, FC STIINTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthimos Kapsis to maneuver through the defense. After 63 played minutes Vamvakαdhes got a freekick which was hit by Lambros Megas. After having played for 65 minutes, Alkis Komaitis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC STIINTA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alkis Komaitis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Kosmas Andriolas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Argyris Louboutis. Vamvakαdhes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kosmas Andriolas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. FC STIINTA's Valentinos Psychountakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Themistoklis Stergiotis in the 70th minute of play. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vamvakαdhes's goalkeeper Argyris Louboutis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Alkis Komaitis came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the FC STIINTA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alkis Komaitis couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in FC STIINTA's zone, Lambros Megas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valentinos Psychountakis came out of the goal and Lambros Megas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valentinos Psychountakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Themistoklis Stergiotis in the 79th minute of play. If Lambros Megas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the match, FC STIINTA's goal looked a bit too open when Themistoklis Stergiotis came free, but Valentinos Psychountakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aggelos Dimatos made in the 97th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC STIINTA's Anthimos Kapsis. Alkis Komaitis took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Argyris Louboutis. Argyris Louboutis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. FC STIINTA walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
