In the 4th minute Ntinos Neopidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Soulis Christakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Stavros Malesios dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Stamatis Valassoglou, 1-0. Tasos Kalafatidis got a throw-in 10 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Babbis Spetsarias. Soulis Christakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikitas Mousikos in the 10th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Kerame's zone, Tasos Kalafatidis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Soulis Christakis came out of the goal and Tasos Kalafatidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 14 minutes into the game, Nestoras Zervoulakos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kerame's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Madrit the free kick. In the 14th minute, Nestoras Zervoulakos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Ntinos Vardopoulos put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Soulis Christakis. In the 19th match minute, Kerame was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dimitris Vasilas to maneuver through the defense. Gerasimos Kazazis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Soulis Christakis. Kerame's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Stamatis Valassoglou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stavros Malesios, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 26 minutes into the match, Real Madrit's goal looked a bit too open when Nestoras Zervoulakos came free, but Stamatis Valassoglou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Kerame fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Soulis Christakis should have stopped the shot. Nikitas Mousikos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Soulis Christakis made a huge save. Real Madrit's Ntinos Neopidis got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 85th minute Dimitris Vasilas suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The supporters of Kerame booed when Real Madrit was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Babbis Spetsarias didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Real Madrit getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Alkaios Varsamis hit a great ball. Ntinos Neopidis kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kerame's goalkeeper Soulis Christakis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 96 minutes into the match, Real Madrit's goal looked a bit too open when Louis Dimitrakos came free, but Stamatis Valassoglou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Real Madrit supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Real Madrit would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
