Tasos Mouraitidis started the match with the kick off. Giannis Natsikas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitris Zoras in the 4th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tasos Mouraitidis in the 12th minute of play forced Mavrokklνsi BC's goalkeeper Lazaros Karagiotas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andreas Felegakis took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Giannis Natsikas. Giannis Natsikas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Alexis Tsevas hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Giannis Natsikas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Felegakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to A.P.O PERAMAIKOS getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Fotis Papadoulis hit a great ball. Andreas Felegakis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Giannis Natsikas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. If Tasos Mouraitidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dimitris Zoras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Giannis Natsikas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 42 minutes, Andreas Felegakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mavrokklνsi BC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andreas Felegakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The corner was taken by Alexis Tsevas in the 49th minute. A nice corner shot did that Alexis Tsevas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lazaros Karagiotas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After the first half Mavrokklνsi BC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dimitris Zoras made a kick off. Dimitris Zoras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vladimiros Stavridis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Lazaros Karagiotas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tasos Mouraitidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lazaros Karagiotas having to interfere. The Mavrokklνsi BC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mavrokklνsi BC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
