Vaggelis Kapetanoglou charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vaggelis Kapetanoglou the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Monsouli getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Vaggelis Kapetanoglou hit a great ball. Nikolas Koroneos's late challenge caught a Anonymous F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nikolas Koroneos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd minute, Nikolas Koroneos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Errikos Koutris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vaggelis Kapetanoglou, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. When Vaggelis Kapetanoglou came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Monsouli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vaggelis Kapetanoglou couldn't finish the play. Errikos Koutris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timos Bissias, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After 35 played minutes Monsouli got a freekick which was hit by Notis Kounelakis. If Timos Bissias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fotis Manousopoulos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Timos Bissias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monsouli's supporters rose to their feet, but Timos Bissias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Errikos Koutris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 74 minutes of play, Monsouli's Vaggelis Kapetanoglou made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Errikos Koutris was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vaggelis Kapetanoglou succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 77th playminute. In the 81st match minute, Anonymous F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kostas Kabantais to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 97th minute by Vaggelis Kapetanoglou got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.
