Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eleftherios Vasalas kicked off to start the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alkinoos Savvopoulos during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Dhamasoϊlion booed when Monsouli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alkinoos Savvopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanasis Katritsis was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 8th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Dhamasoϊlion's Renos Savvakos got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Renos Savvakos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vaggelis Kapetanoglou could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Stratos Stamatakos made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vaggelis Kapetanoglou got free with Stratos Stamatakos in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Monsouli's Eleftherios Vasalas got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alkinoos Savvopoulos struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Stratos Stamatakos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monsouli. Themos Stefanoglou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renos Savvakos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, Konstantinos Vakoufaris got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Konstantinos Vakoufaris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Themos Stefanoglou having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Dhamasoϊlion's zone, Vaggelis Kapetanoglou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stratos Stamatakos came out of the goal and Vaggelis Kapetanoglou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Konstantinos Vakoufaris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Themos Stefanoglou having to interfere. Renos Savvakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 48 minutes into the game, Paschalis Ntaliardos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dhamasoϊlion's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monsouli the free kick. In the 48th minute, Paschalis Ntaliardos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Konstantinos Vakoufaris to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Simos Rovolas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute, Eleftherios Vasalas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 61st minute, Monsouli's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Konstantinos Vakoufaris fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Stratos Stamatakos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eleftherios Vasalas in the 66th minute of play. Stratos Stamatakos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vaggelis Kapetanoglou, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute Eleftherios Vasalas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stratos Stamatakos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Eleftherios Vasalas came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Monsouli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eleftherios Vasalas couldn't finish the play. 81 minutes into the match, Monsouli's Eleftherios Vasalas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stratos Stamatakos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Dhamasoϊlion's Konstantinos Vakoufaris ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Themos Stefanoglou. Themos Stefanoglou yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1.
