Giorgos Parlapidis didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 13th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. After 16 played minutes CAPTAIN NEMO got a freekick which was hit by Prodromos Samios. If Fotis Pentaras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fotis Pentaras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christos Fragou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ntinos Konstantinou in the 37th minute of play. Giorgos Parlapidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theodosis Rapanakis in the 39th minute of the match. Christos Fragou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ntinos Konstantinou, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Giorgos Parlapidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aris Xidas in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 53rd minute, Ntinos Konstantinou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theodosis Rapanakis in the 57th minute of play forced CAPTAIN NEMO's goalkeeper Giorgos Parlapidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, Theodosis Rapanakis made a precise shot to the right of Giorgos Parlapidis. CAPTAIN NEMO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Theodosis Rapanakis struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Giorgos Parlapidis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Byzantium. Nikos Fotakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Christos Fragou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd match minute, Byzantium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerasimos Mantouvalos to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute Nikos Fotakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christos Fragou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute Theodosis Rapanakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giorgos Parlapidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christos Fragou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikos Fotakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Byzantium players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
