Christoforos Nafpliotis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Minas Miroforidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Golden Eagle Fc's zone, Dimitris Pantelis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miltiadis Karatassos came out of the goal and Dimitris Pantelis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miltiadis Karatassos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Prodromos Mamatziolas's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Nikos Sfakianos's late challenge caught a Golden Eagle Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nikos Sfakianos helped the player get up and apologised. After 20 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Soufaiika! 26 minutes into the game, Sokratis Zervoulakis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Soufaiika's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Golden Eagle Fc the free kick. After a rather tough play, Soufaiika's Sokratis Zervoulakis got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 33rd minute Soufaiika were awarded a corner. Alkaios Giaourtas went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Alkaios Giaourtas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Miltiadis Karatassos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Andreas Patsatzoglou hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Prodromos Mamatziolas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Soufaiika's Alkaios Giaourtas got a free kick in the 45th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pantelis Spyrakos got free with Minas Miroforidis in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 48 minutes into the match, Golden Eagle Fc's Panos Asimakopoulos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Minas Miroforidis narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Panos Asimakopoulos made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Panos Asimakopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Minas Miroforidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Soufaiika's goal looked a bit too open when Christoforos Nafpliotis came free, but Minas Miroforidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute of the match Stamatis Kanelidis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Minas Miroforidis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dimitris Pantelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miltiadis Karatassos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prodromos Mamatziolas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Minas Miroforidis came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Golden Eagle Fc's Panos Asimakopoulos. But to his dismay, Panos Asimakopoulos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. A collision led to Golden Eagle Fc getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Vaggelis Giotakoglou hit a great ball. Christoforos Nafpliotis struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Minas Miroforidis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Golden Eagle Fc. The supporters of Golden Eagle Fc booed when Soufaiika was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alkinoos Tsirakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christoforos Nafpliotis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Minas Miroforidis having to interfere. Dimitris Balafas's late challenge caught a Soufaiika's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dimitris Balafas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 90th minute, Dimitris Balafas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Soufaiika's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alkaios Giaourtas in the 94th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Nikos Kaklamanos heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Golden Eagle Fc's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
