In the 5thth minute of the game Omiros Plexidas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vrangianα's Thodoris Giannopoulatos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Giorgos Gabriilidis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Thodoris Giannopoulatos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Pythagoras F.C's Nikitas Fragou in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vrangianα's goalie prevented a goal. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pythagoras F.C's goalkeeper Petros Polichronidis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Dimitris Bazinas made a precise shot to the right of Petros Polichronidis. Pythagoras F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Giorgos Gabriilidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Thodoris Giannopoulatos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Vrangianα's Christodoulos Lavas got a free kick in the 28th minute. Nikitas Fragou struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Thodoris Giannopoulatos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pythagoras F.C. Pythagoras F.C's Petros Polichronidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panos Bourlokas in the 33rd minute of play. Nikitas Fragou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thodoris Giannopoulatos having to interfere. Omiros Plexidas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Giannis Lazarakoglou was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 46th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Omiros Plexidas made the kick off in the second half. Petros Polichronidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christodoulos Lavas in the 55th minute of play. Panos Bourlokas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the match, Vrangianα's goal looked a bit too open when Nikitas Fragou came free, but Thodoris Giannopoulatos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thodoris Giannopoulatos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miltos Logothetis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vrangianα's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Omiros Plexidas was slow to take the kick. During this time Pythagoras F.C's players had a chance to rest. Akakios Mavrakis tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Thodoris Giannopoulatos. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-1 in the 68th minute. After a rather tough play, Vrangianα's Prodromos Rigas got a free kick in the 71st minute. Giannis Chrisopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Omiros Plexidas sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Vrangianα's Thodoris Giannopoulatos didn't even have to move. Thodoris Giannopoulatos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omiros Plexidas in the 77th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nikitas Fragou in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thodoris Giannopoulatos saved Vrangianα from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Omiros Plexidas in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thodoris Giannopoulatos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Miltos Logothetis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Giorgos Gabriilidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the match, Omiros Plexidas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thodoris Giannopoulatos. Vrangianα's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Omiros Plexidas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The supporters of Vrangianα booed when Pythagoras F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alkinoos Panagiotakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thodoris Giannopoulatos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omiros Plexidas in the 96th minute of the match. Pythagoras F.C's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
