The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Loukas Giannakakos came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by ORIGINAL F.C.'s Dimitris Katsadramis. But to his dismay, Dimitris Katsadramis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 12th match minute, Born to be Red was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nasos Saltamaras to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Born to be Red booed when ORIGINAL F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petros Georgiou didn't get a good kick on the ball. The supporters of ORIGINAL F.C. booed when Born to be Red was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stratos Toskas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Charis Agritis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Petros Georgiou put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Loukas Giannakakos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petros Georgiou in the 41st minute of play forced Born to be Red's goalkeeper Loukas Giannakakos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the game, Andreas Kassianidis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Born to be Red's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ORIGINAL F.C. the free kick. After a rather tough play, Born to be Red's Andreas Kassianidis got a free kick in the 44th minute. Petros Georgiou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andreas Kassianidis to strike the kick off in the second half. Loukas Giannakakos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petros Georgiou in the 52nd minute of play. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Dimitris Katsadramis sped through Born to be Red's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Loukas Giannakakos. In the 58th minute Petros Georgiou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loukas Giannakakos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Born to be Red's Loukas Giannakakos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Born to be Red from getting a goal against them. Loukas Giannakakos came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by ORIGINAL F.C.'s Petros Georgiou. But to his dismay, Petros Georgiou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Loukas Giannakakos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Petros Georgiou showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 76 minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Dimitris Katsadramis could shoot a difficult shot in the 81st minute, which Loukas Giannakakos however easily saved by the left post. In the 82nd match minute, Born to be Red was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nasos Saltamaras to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to ORIGINAL F.C. getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Nektarios Sakelariou hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petros Georgiou in the 90th minute of play forced Born to be Red's goalkeeper Loukas Giannakakos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Born to be Red's zone, Dimitris Katsadramis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Loukas Giannakakos came out of the goal and Dimitris Katsadramis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ORIGINAL F.C. played a much better game than Born to be Red and deserved their victory. The Born to be Red players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
