After a defensive mix-up in Rasputin F.C's zone, Panos Kostakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fragiskos Tsagaris came out of the goal and Panos Kostakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Themistoklis Eleftherakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Fragiskos Tsagaris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute Panos Kostakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fragiskos Tsagaris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Themistoklis Eleftherakis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Krνkellon BC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Stavros Kiliaras put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Giorgos Stergiotis. Themistoklis Eleftherakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Themistoklis Eleftherakis was the one to do the kick off. Panos Kostakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute, Panos Kostakis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Fragiskos Tsagaris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Themistoklis Eleftherakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After having played for 76 minutes, Panos Kostakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Krνkellon BC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Panos Kostakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th minute of the match, Themistoklis Eleftherakis tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fragiskos Tsagaris saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Themistoklis Eleftherakis charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Themistoklis Eleftherakis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 97 played minutes Krνkellon BC got a freekick which was hit by Themistoklis Eleftherakis. Krνkellon BC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
