Nontas Anagnostakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Polystαfyllon. Vassilis Trechalidis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anestis Koubilias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Giorgos Pantaleon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Polystαfyllon's Gerasimos Alexandris got his second yellow card of the match in the 17th minute. The referee ordered Gerasimos Alexandris off the ground. Gerasimos Alexandris kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thanasis Vogiaris in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anestis Koubilias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Vassilis Trechalidis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anestis Koubilias was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Fivos Krezias hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Silver City's zone, Stavros Vourousakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nontas Anagnostakis came out of the goal and Stavros Vourousakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vassilis Trechalidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Anestis Koubilias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Iason Nikolopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 54 minutes, Vassilis Trechalidis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Silver City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vassilis Trechalidis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anestis Koubilias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vassilis Trechalidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Vassilis Trechalidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Anestis Koubilias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vassilis Trechalidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonis Keramidas couldn't finish the play. Theofanis Garpozis charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Theofanis Garpozis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Stavros Vourousakis kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After 77 minutes, Anastasios Aggeliadis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Polystαfyllon and the Silver City players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 77th match minute, Polystαfyllon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasios Aggeliadis to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute, Vassilis Trechalidis fired a really elegant long shot, but Anestis Koubilias threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Silver City's Nontas Anagnostakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stavros Vourousakis in the 98th minute of play. Silver City were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
