Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Vassilis Trechalidis got the match started through his kick off. Diogenis Alonion F.C's Antonis Mouzis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Diogenis Alonion F.C from getting a goal against them. Apostolos Kondilis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Antonis Mouzis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silver City's Vassilis Trechalidis got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Iason Nikolopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Silver City's supporters rose to their feet, but Iason Nikolopoulos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antonis Mouzis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vaios Nikiforakis's late challenge caught a Silver City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vaios Nikiforakis helped the player get up and apologised. After 18 played minutes Diogenis Alonion F.C got a freekick which was hit by Vaios Nikiforakis. After some careless play in the Diogenis Alonion F.C defense, Antonis Keramidas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Antonis Mouzis. The Diogenis Alonion F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antonis Mouzis should have stopped the shot. Nontas Anagnostakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vaios Nikiforakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 30thth minute of the game Vassilis Trechalidis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Diogenis Alonion F.C's Antonis Mouzis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Silver City's Nontas Anagnostakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alekos Anagnostakis in the 33rd minute of play. Vassilis Trechalidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vassilis Trechalidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonis Mouzis having to interfere. 39 minutes into the game, Apostolos Kondilis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Antonis Mouzis. Apostolos Kondilis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Vassilis Trechalidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alekos Anagnostakis to strike the kick off in the second half. Antonis Mouzis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vassilis Trechalidis's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vassilis Trechalidis in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antonis Mouzis saved Diogenis Alonion F.C from getting behind. Vassilis Trechalidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Diogenis Alonion F.C's zone, Apostolos Kondilis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonis Mouzis came out of the goal and Apostolos Kondilis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Periklis Xanthis got free with Nontas Anagnostakis in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vassilis Trechalidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vassilis Trechalidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Antonis Mouzis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nontas Anagnostakis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ntinos Sarantos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 70 minute of play. Alekos Anagnostakis was extremely unlucky when he, in the 74th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 83rd minute, Periklis Xanthis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Diogenis Alonion F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. In the 85th minute, Apostolos Kondilis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Giannis Boulgouras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Antonis Mouzis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Vassilis Trechalidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Silver City had played much better football throughout.
