An unexpectedly hard shot by Giorgos Kamilas in the 4th minute of play forced Itιa BC's goalkeeper Ermis Kapogiannopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dionysis Tsoukalas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miltos Konstantakakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After some careless play in the Titanas Karpathou defense, Eleftherios Siozos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dionysis Tsoukalas. The Titanas Karpathou fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dionysis Tsoukalas should have stopped the shot. Iosif Paspalidis hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After having played for 13 minutes, Vladimiros Konstantakakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itιa BC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vladimiros Konstantakakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dionysis Tsoukalas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marios Tsartsalis in the 18th minute. Titanas Karpathou's Dimitris Karataidis got his second yellow card of the match in the 20th minute. The referee ordered Dimitris Karataidis off the ground. When Miltos Konstantakakis came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Itιa BC fans jumped to their feet. After 23 played minutes, Itιa BC's Babbis Sapounelis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dionysis Tsoukalas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Itιa BC reached it. Miltos Konstantakakis struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Dionysis Tsoukalas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itιa BC. A collision led to Titanas Karpathou getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Giorgos Kamilas hit a great ball. Eleftherios Siozos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42ndth minute of the game Dimitris Giannakakis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Itιa BC's Ermis Kapogiannopoulos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Titanas Karpathou's Dimitris Giannakakis in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Dionysis Tsoukalas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vladimiros Konstantakakis went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Dionysis Tsoukalas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miltos Konstantakakis in the 57th minute of play. If Giorgos Kamilas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee ignored Titanas Karpathou's protests and gave Apostolos Papapostolou a yellow card for diving instead. Dimitris Giannakakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermis Kapogiannopoulos having to interfere. Dimitris Giannakakiss short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Ermis Kapogiannopoulos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some careless play in the Itιa BC defense, Dimitris Giannakakis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ermis Kapogiannopoulos. The Itιa BC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ermis Kapogiannopoulos should have stopped the shot. Ermis Kapogiannopoulos came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Titanas Karpathou's Dimitris Giannakakis. But to his dismay, Dimitris Giannakakis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Titanas Karpathou's Apostolos Papapostolou managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Soulis Igoumenakis in the 83 minute of the game. Apostolos Papapostolou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Ermis Kapogiannopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the game, Marios Tsartsalis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Itιa BC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Titanas Karpathou the free kick. The supporters of Titanas Karpathou booed when Itιa BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marios Tsartsalis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dionysis Tsoukalas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miltos Konstantakakis in the 90th minute of play. Dionysis Tsoukalas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miltos Konstantakakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Vladimiros Konstantakakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
