Thomas Teneketzis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eleftherios Siozos went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Miltos Konstantakakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 28 minutes, Chatziantoniou Koliakis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galaxidi and the Itιa BC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gerasimos Kassiantidis's late challenge caught a Itιa BC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerasimos Kassiantidis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th match minute, Galaxidi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerasimos Kassiantidis to maneuver through the defense. A well done corner resulted in Eleftherios Siozos drilling the ball in to score 0-3 behind Galaxidi's goalkeeper. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pavlos Perdikopoulos to make the kick off. Miltos Konstantakakis struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Thomas Teneketzis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itιa BC. In the 62nd minute Pavlos Perdikopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermis Kapogiannopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, Chatziantoniou Koliakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 68 played minutes Itιa BC got a freekick which was hit by Dimitris Matsoukis. 73 minutes into the match, Itιa BC's goal looked a bit too open when Pavlos Perdikopoulos came free, but Ermis Kapogiannopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Miltos Konstantakakis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Thomas Teneketzis. That made the score 1-4 in the 92 minute of play. Itιa BC's Dimitris Matsoukis shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 98th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Thomas Teneketzis but with some difficulty. Itιa BC played a much better game than Galaxidi and deserved their victory. The Galaxidi players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
