The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Panagiotis Tsirikolias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vaggelis Mavromatis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 4 minutes into the match, Alkaios Maragozis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Panagiotis Tsirikolias. Skotiniotika's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alkaios Maragozis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Panagiotis Tsirikolias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Panagiotis Parmezanas in the 7th minute. Panagiotis Parmezanas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Panagiotis Tsirikolias made a huge save. Vaggelis Mavromatis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Panagiotis Tsirikolias came out and tried to block the shot, but Vaggelis Mavromatis slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 14th minute. Panagiotis Parmezanas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Panagiotis Tsirikolias made a huge save. Panagiotis Tsirikolias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vaggelis Mavromatis, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Panagiotis Tsirikolias was a little too slow when Vaggelis Mavromatis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 3-0. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Panagiotis Tsirikolias successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Galiαna's Vaggelis Mavromatis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Panagiotis Tsirikolias. That made the score 4-0 after 29 minutes of play. Skotiniotika's Panagiotis Tsirikolias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lambis Sotiriou in the 32nd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Panagiotis Tsirikolias successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Panagiotis Parmezanas scored 5-0 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Panagiotis Tsirikolias, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 38th minute, Panagiotis Parmezanas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Panagiotis Tsirikolias was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. In the 42nd minute of the match, Panagiotis Parmezanas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Panagiotis Tsirikolias was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Panagiotis Parmezanas took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Panagiotis Tsirikolias. Panagiotis Tsirikolias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vaggelis Mavromatis was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Galiαna's Lambis Sotiriou got a free kick in the 54th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Galiαna's zone, Fondas Tsartas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christoforos Kourkoulas came out of the goal and Fondas Tsartas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Skotiniotika's Panagiotis Tsirikolias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alkaios Maragozis in the 64th minute of play. In the 68th minute Panagiotis Parmezanas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Panagiotis Tsirikolias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, Alkinoos Topalidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Panagiotis Tsirikolias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Panagiotis Parmezanas, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After some careless play in the Skotiniotika defense, Panagiotis Parmezanas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Panagiotis Tsirikolias. The Skotiniotika fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Panagiotis Tsirikolias should have stopped the shot. Panagiotis Tsirikolias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panagiotis Parmezanas in the 78th minute of the match. Panagiotis Tsirikolias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vaggelis Mavromatis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the game, Alkaios Maragozis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galiαna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skotiniotika the free kick. Panagiotis Tsirikolias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Galiαna fully deserved thier win.
