In the 3rd minute of the match Stergios Anagnostou sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Michalis Miaoulis skillfully saved the ball. Michalis Miaoulis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andreas Kalafatas in the 5th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nelson Toledano got free with Akis Kesoglou in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Michalis Miaoulis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Kalafatas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Akis Kesoglou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sotiris Skevas, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Kalafatas in the 21st minute of play forced KOFINAS FC's goalkeeper Michalis Miaoulis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Akis Kesoglou made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nelson Toledano in the 23rd minute. Miltos Sagris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the match, KOFINAS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Kalafatas came free, but Michalis Miaoulis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Andreas Kalafatas made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Steniaνs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christos Lignos to maneuver through the defense. When Panos Kolobourdas was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 55 minutes had been played. In the 55th minute, Panos Kolobourdas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sotiris Skevas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Akis Kesoglou having to make a save. If Sotiris Skevas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, Christos Lignos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christos Lignos kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Daniil Papaggelakos's late challenge caught a KOFINAS FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniil Papaggelakos helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Steniaνs fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! After 69 played minutes Steniaνs got a freekick which was hit by Christos Lignos . Sotiris Skevas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of KOFINAS FC booed when Steniaνs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christos Lignos didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Sotiris Skevas came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the KOFINAS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sotiris Skevas couldn't finish the play. KOFINAS FC's Michalis Miaoulis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save KOFINAS FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of KOFINAS FC booed when Steniaνs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Periklis Perdiou didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 94 played minutes, KOFINAS FC's Themis Mavromatakis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Akis Kesoglou came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in KOFINAS FC reached it. Steniaνs's Akis Kesoglou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sotiris Skevas in the 96th minute of play. Loukas Metaxas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Michalis Miaoulis made a huge save. Chants of Steniaνs echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as KOFINAS FC had held the ball for most of the match.
