In the 6th minute Fragiskos Michailidis collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. Nikos Papadopoulos charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nikos Papadopoulos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to ANERGOS-AGANAKTISI A.E getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Nikos Papadopoulos hit a great ball. Evripidis Stratopoulos shot from long distance in the 9th minute, but Konstantinos Samaropoulos was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. In the 10th minute, Konstantinos Poursanidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Katsapaνika's Christos Argyroulis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kostas Veritsis in the 12th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Kostas Veritsis managed to get in a good position for a shot. ANERGOS-AGANAKTISI A.E's supporters rose to their feet, but Kostas Veritsis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christos Argyroulis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Christos Kouvas struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Christos Argyroulis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ANERGOS-AGANAKTISI A.E. After 16 played minutes Katsapaνika got a freekick which was hit by Giannis Koutsaftis. 22 minutes into the game, Christos Kouvas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Christos Argyroulis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 27th minute Christos Kouvas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christos Argyroulis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, ANERGOS-AGANAKTISI A.E's goal looked a bit too open when Iosif Kalabokis came free, but Konstantinos Samaropoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Katsapaνika players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ANERGOS-AGANAKTISI A.E were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Kostas Veritsis made the kick off in the second half. ANERGOS-AGANAKTISI A.E's Christos Kouvas got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christos Kouvas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christos Argyroulis having to interfere. Christos Kouvas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Katsapaνika's Marios Athanasakos got a free kick in the 78th minute. 81 minutes into the game, one of Katsapaνika:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. An unexpected shot in the 91st minute by Kostas Veritsis got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Christos Kouvas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christos Argyroulis having to interfere. ANERGOS-AGANAKTISI A.E played a much better game than Katsapaνika and deserved their victory. The Katsapaνika players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
