Spectators: 7651 (Terracing: 5740, Seating: 1759, VIP seats: 152) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Walery Leper started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Gliαta booed when Olympios FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignatios Markogiannakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Olympios FC's zone, Sakis Tsakonakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vaios Irinopoulos came out of the goal and Sakis Tsakonakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Simos Papaggeloulis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apostolis Papadogiannakis in the 5th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Walery Leper reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Simos Papaggeloulis. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 13th minute, Soulis Stamatakopoulou ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vaios Irinopoulos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 16th minute Walery Leper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simos Papaggeloulis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Walery Leper got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 2-1 in the right cross in the 19th match minute before Simos Papaggeloulis had time to react. Apostolis Papadogiannakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Simos Papaggeloulis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Gliαta's Soulis Stamatakopoulou got a free kick in the 30th minute. Soulis Stamatakopoulou kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After 36th play minutes Walery Leper shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Simos Papaggeloulis and just under the crossbar into goal. Walery Leper could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Simos Papaggeloulis made a huge save. Walery Leper in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Simos Papaggeloulis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Apostolis Papadogiannakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simos Papaggeloulis having to interfere. Simos Papaggeloulis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Walery Leper in the 47th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sakis Tsakonakis was the one to do the kick off. Apostolis Papadogiannakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simos Papaggeloulis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walery Leper in the 54th minute of play. Simos Papaggeloulis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Walery Leper went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Olympios FC's Stratos Apostolopoulos was substituted for Errikos Giakoumakis. Gliαta's Miltiadis Georgiou shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 63rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Vaios Irinopoulos but with some difficulty. 66 minutes into the match, Olympios FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sakis Tsakonakis came free, but Vaios Irinopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sakis Tsakonakis struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Vaios Irinopoulos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gliαta. Walery Leper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ermis Karydas took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vaios Irinopoulos. Vaios Irinopoulos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. In the 82ndth minute of the game Walery Leper who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gliαta's Simos Papaggeloulis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Simos Papaggeloulis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walery Leper, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Ignatios Markogiannakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sakis Tsakonakis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vaios Irinopoulos having to make a save. Ermis Karydas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vaios Irinopoulos having to make a save.
