Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kostas Vlassiadis started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Chrisostomos Machlas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kosmas Maloumidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Chrisostomos Machlas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kostas Vlassiadis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Christos Papagiannatos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stratos Katsiougiannis's late challenge caught a piroski's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stratos Katsiougiannis helped the player get up and apologised. After 13 played minutes Ayeranσs got a freekick which was hit by Stratos Katsiougiannis. Christos Bibis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christos Papagiannatos having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Iakovos Papadopetrakis notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of piroski's Kosmas Maloumidis. Kosmas Maloumidis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 23rd minute, Kostas Vlassiadis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Christos Papagiannatos. The goal made the score 1-1. If Kostas Vlassiadis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. piroski's Dimitris Kazantzis got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Iakovos Papadopetrakis came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Ayeranσs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iakovos Papadopetrakis couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in piroski's zone, Takis Mavros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kosmas Maloumidis came out of the goal and Takis Mavros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kosmas Maloumidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kostas Petsalnikos in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 36th minute, piroski's Kostas Vlassiadis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. In the 40th minute, Chrisostomos Machlas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. piroski were furious when Dimosthenis Kagiasis was red carded, 41 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chrisostomos Machlas made a kick off. 50 minutes into the game, Christos Bibis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Christos Papagiannatos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexis Karidis during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Christos Bibis came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the piroski fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christos Bibis couldn't finish the play. A collision led to piroski getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Dimitris Kazantzis hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Stratos Katsiougiannis could shoot a difficult shot in the 66th minute, which Kosmas Maloumidis however easily saved by the left post. Pavlos Faniadis got a throw-in 72 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Takis Mavros. Dimitris Kazantzis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Christos Papagiannatos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the game, Giorgos Nikakis threw the ball into play from the sideline. piroski's Alexis Karidis quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 76th minute, Giorgos Nikakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 80 minutes into the match, piroski's goal looked a bit too open when Chrisostomos Machlas came free, but Kosmas Maloumidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christos Bibis struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Christos Papagiannatos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for piroski. Kosmas Maloumidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chrisostomos Machlas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dimitris Kazantzis in the 87th minute of play forced Ayeranσs's goalkeeper Christos Papagiannatos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kosmas Maloumidis made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Iakovos Papadopetrakis sent off a good shot on target. In the 93rdth minute of the game Chrisostomos Machlas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but piroski's Kosmas Maloumidis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. piroski's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
