Argyris Vernikos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dionysis Prasomouris charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dionysis Prasomouris the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Glyfáda getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Dionysis Prasomouris hit a great ball. Christos Bibis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Argyris Vernikos having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Dionysis Prasomouris left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Glyfáda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Kostas Vlassiadis had several of the Glyfáda's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 32 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Argyris Vernikos as he didn't even see the shot coming. 35 minutes into the match, Glyfáda's goal looked a bit too open when Christos Bibis came free, but Argyris Vernikos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eustratios Petratos hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Kostas Vlassiadis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Argyris Vernikos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With his leg Argyris Vernikos managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when piroski's Kostas Vlassiadis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 41 minutes into the match, piroski's Dimitris Kazantzis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Argyris Vernikos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dionysis Prasomouris might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kosmas Maloumidis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dionysis Prasomouris ran back to his position shaking his head. piroski's Kosmas Maloumidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dionysis Prasomouris in the 44th minute of play. Kostas Vlassiadis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kostas Vlassiadis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 76th minute Kostas Vlassiadis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Argyris Vernikos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dimitris Kazantzis might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Argyris Vernikos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dimitris Kazantzis ran back to his position shaking his head. Kostas Vlassiadis struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Argyris Vernikos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for piroski. After a defensive mix-up in Glyfáda's zone, Kostas Vlassiadis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Argyris Vernikos came out of the goal and Kostas Vlassiadis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Glyfáda's Argyris Vernikos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kostas Vlassiadis in the 88th minute of play. A collision led to piroski getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Panos Karantasios hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kostas Vlassiadis in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Argyris Vernikos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Christos Bibis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Argyris Vernikos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When piroski's Kostas Vlassiadis in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Glyfáda's goalie prevented a goal. Akakios Kourelis hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. piroski's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
