Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dionysis Spetzopoulos kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the game, one of Aiolikos FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 9th minute, Panos Giotakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute of the match Marios Kalipolitis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Thanasis Lygos skillfully saved the ball. In the 12th minute of the game Thomas Ioannidis made a throw-in which Thomas Ioannidis played forward. When Thomas Ioannidis fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Artemis's protests and gave Thomas Ioannidis a yellow card for diving instead. Evripidis Kalabakas hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Evripidis Kalabakas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marios Ntouvarelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Thanasis Lygos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 32 played minutes Vassilis Skandalidis rounded Artemis's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. The supporters of Artemis booed when Aiolikos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valerios Xenidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Vassilis Skandalidis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Theodosis Zisopoulos, 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vassilis Skandalidis to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Aiolikos FC got a freekick which was hit by Valerios Xenidis. Marinos Sakoulidis charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marinos Sakoulidis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Artemis booed when Aiolikos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marinos Sakoulidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Dionysis Spetzopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Artemis's supporters rose to their feet, but Dionysis Spetzopoulos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thanasis Lygos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Aiolikos FC's Sakis Tsoutsikas got a free kick in the 65th minute. If Dionysis Spetzopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Grigoris Kyrgiakos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Theodosis Zisopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dionysis Spetzopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thanasis Lygos having to interfere. When Dionysis Spetzopoulos came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Artemis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dionysis Spetzopoulos couldn't finish the play. The throw-in from Akis Zisimopoulos in the 89th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Aiolikos FC's Valerios Xenidis. In the 97th minute, Vassilis Skandalidis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Theodosis Zisopoulos was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. The Aiolikos FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
