When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Menelaos Beloutsis took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Panos Amanatidis to make any attempt to save it. Menelaos Beloutsis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Thomas Voulgarelis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Panos Amanatidis. Kosmirα's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thomas Voulgarelis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Thomas Voulgarelis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Panos Amanatidis having to interfere. When Menelaos Beloutsis, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 17 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Panos Amanatidis was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Nasos Ntavelis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vaggelis Fanatos was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. In the 30th minute, Nasos Ntavelis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 31st match minute, Katsika BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kleanthis Karagiannopoulos to maneuver through the defense. Menelaos Katsanevas struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Vaggelis Fanatos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kosmirα. 40 minutes into the game, Nikos Kosmakos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Katsika BC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kosmirα the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Katsika BC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 40th minute. Penalty! Katsika BC's Vaggelis Fanatos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nasos Ntavelis in the 46th minute of play.

The wind increased when Nasos Ntavelis made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Katsika BC booed when Kosmirα was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iordanis Mouzis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thomas Voulgarelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Panos Amanatidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Katsika BC's Markos Bonos suffered a concussion after 74 minutes and had to leave the field. In the 75th minute, Alexis Kavakos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Panos Amanatidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Menelaos Beloutsis in the 81st minute of the match. In the 83rd match minute, Kosmirα was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Markos Athanasiou to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Thomas Voulgarelis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Katsika BC's supporters rose to their feet, but Thomas Voulgarelis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Panos Amanatidis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Kosmirα's Vaggelis Zorbas got a free kick in the 88th minute. Thomas Voulgarelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kleanthis Karagiannopoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Katsika BC booed when Kosmirα was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Markos Athanasiou didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Katsika BC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kosmirα had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
