Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Menelaos Beloutsis took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Arísti FC's zone, Menelaos Beloutsis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fivos Kostakos came out of the goal and Menelaos Beloutsis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thomas Voulgarelis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fivos Kostakos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. If Menelaos Beloutsis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 19 minutes of play, Katsika BC's Thomas Voulgarelis made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fivos Kostakos was left in no man's land by his defense there! 23 minutes into the game, Thomas Voulgarelis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fivos Kostakos. Thomas Voulgarelis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lakis Kalimeris in the 27th minute of play forced Katsika BC's goalkeeper Vaggelis Fanatos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th match minute, Katsika BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Markos Bonos to maneuver through the defense. Katsika BC's Menelaos Beloutsis got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Menelaos Beloutsis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Fivos Kostakos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 39 minutes of play, Arísti FC's Lakis Kalimeris made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vaggelis Fanatos was left in no man's land by his defense there! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Stelios Bernidakis made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stelios Bernidakis in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vaggelis Fanatos saved Katsika BC from getting behind. Lakis Kalimeris's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vaggelis Fanatos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Katsika BC's zone, Stelios Bernidakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vaggelis Fanatos came out of the goal and Stelios Bernidakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 68 minutes into the match, Arísti FC's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Voulgarelis came free, but Fivos Kostakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Lakis Kalimeris ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vaggelis Fanatos was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. In the 74th minute, Stelios Bernidakis fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Lakis Kalimeris received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vaggelis Fanatos came out and tried to block the shot, but Lakis Kalimeris slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 77th minute. Lakis Kalimeris's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vaggelis Fanatos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Arísti FC's Fivos Kostakos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Voulgarelis in the 82nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Thomas Voulgarelis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fivos Kostakos was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Arísti FC's zone, Thomas Voulgarelis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fivos Kostakos came out of the goal and Thomas Voulgarelis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fivos Kostakos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Voulgarelis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th match minute, Katsika BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Markos Bonos to maneuver through the defense. Vaggelis Fanatos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stelios Bernidakis in the 95th minute of play. Stelios Bernidakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Vaggelis Fanatos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Arísti FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
