Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The Opayia fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Opayia's Paschalis Koupepes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in fridays's zone, Markos Sioufas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giorgos Botinos came out of the goal and Markos Sioufas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute, Markos Sioufas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Giorgos Botinos. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 23rd minute, Makis Pentasferos made a precise shot to the right of Thalis Xinos. Opayia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After 34 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for fridays! In the 37th minute Markos Sioufas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giorgos Botinos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giorgos Botinos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Markos Sioufas in the 43rd minute of play. Markos Sioufas in the 45thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Giorgos Botinos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Makis Pentasferos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thalis Xinos having to make a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Makis Pentasferos was the one to do the kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Paschalis Koupepes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but fridays's Giorgos Botinos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Giorgos Botinos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paschalis Koupepes in the 56th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Paschalis Koupepes put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Giorgos Botinos. If Paschalis Koupepes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Giorgos Botinos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Markos Sioufas in the 68th minute of the match. Markos Sioufas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Giorgos Botinos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paschalis Koupepes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giorgos Botinos having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, fridays's goal looked a bit too open when Markos Sioufas came free, but Giorgos Botinos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Markos Sioufas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 80 played minutes Opayia got a freekick which was hit by Makis Persidis. In the 81st match minute, fridays was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miltiadis Astaris to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Opayia getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Fondas Koutsoureas hit a great ball. After having played for 91 minutes, Miltiadis Astaris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. fridays's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miltiadis Astaris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iordanis Gazis kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Paschalis Koupepes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
