Vassilis Lakerdas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apostolos Masouras having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Charis Pavlakakis was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Koutselion's zone, Charis Pavlakakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apostolos Masouras came out of the goal and Charis Pavlakakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 59 minutes, Vassilis Lakerdas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Krioneri FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vassilis Lakerdas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ignatios Bouzoukis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charis Pavlakakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apostolos Masouras having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Charis Pavlakakis in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Apostolos Masouras prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Vassilis Lakerdas came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Krioneri FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vassilis Lakerdas couldn't finish the play. Vassilis Lakerdas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Apostolos Masouras when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Apostolos Masouras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charis Pavlakakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Krioneri FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
