In the 3rd minute, Gerasimos Iordanidis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 8 minutes into the match, OFA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Panos Pavlos came free, but Akis Kontis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charilaos Kounoupis hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Stiliyan Drangazhov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Lazaros Farmakis managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when OFA FC's Gerasimos Iordanidis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Gerasimos Iordanidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in OFA FC's zone, Stiliyan Drangazhov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Akis Kontis came out of the goal and Stiliyan Drangazhov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stiliyan Drangazhov in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Akis Kontis saved OFA FC from getting behind. In the 28th minute, Panagiotis Lemonis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lazaros Farmakis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Charilaos Kounoupis kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Recreativo de Huelva's Panos Pavlos managed to work through OFA FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Panos Pavlos dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Panos Pavlos in the 44th minute of play forced OFA FC's goalkeeper Akis Kontis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Stiliyan Drangazhov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stiliyan Drangazhov made a kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Gerasimos Iordanidis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Recreativo de Huelva's Lazaros Farmakis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Panagiotis Lemonis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lazaros Farmakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panagiotis Lemonis in the 60th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Gerasimos Iordanidis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stiliyan Drangazhov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Akis Kontis having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Menios Vamvakidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in OFA FC's zone, Stiliyan Drangazhov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Akis Kontis came out of the goal and Stiliyan Drangazhov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Panos Pavlos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Akis Kontis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stathis Latousakis hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After 77 minutes of play, OFA FC's Gerasimos Iordanidis made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lazaros Farmakis was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Gerasimos Iordanidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Panagiotis Lemonis struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Lazaros Farmakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for OFA FC. After having played for 95 minutes, Stiliyan Drangazhov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Recreativo de Huelva's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stiliyan Drangazhov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Stiliyan Drangazhov came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Recreativo de Huelva fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stiliyan Drangazhov couldn't finish the play. OFA FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Recreativo de Huelva for a fine match.
